Rose McGowan: ‘Gay men are more misogynistic than straight men’
Rose McGowan has declared an “indictment” of the gay community, claiming that homosexual men are “more misogynistic” than their straight counterparts and dismissing those who boycotted the Brunei-owned Dorchester Hotel collection as “delusional idiots”.
McGowan says gay men have “basically fought for the right to stand on top of a float wearing an orange Speedo and take molly [MDMA]” ignoring the problems women are facing, e.g. over the Equal Pay Act being shut down in the Senate, and that women have in fact helped the gay community get where it is today.
Stonewall’s James Taylor (a man, no less) however reckons McGowan has a “skewed version of reality”.
